Jaguar cars are known for and have a long history of elegant styling and sporting performance. The E-Type in many circles is considered to be the most beautiful sports car ever produced, and an original D-Type can fetch top dollar on the auction block. A 1956 Jaguar D-Type recently sold for $3.74 million at Gooding and Company's Scottsdale event.
Through out 2010, Jaguar will celebrate their 75th anniversary at some of the world's most glamorous automotive settings, including the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival in the UK; the Concours D'Elegance at Pebble Beach in the US and at the Mille Miglia classic in Italy. Jaguar is also returning to the racetrack with its new Jaguar RSR XKR GT2 and will compete in the American Le Mans Series.
